Trade and library ordering

Print editions are available to booksellers, wholesalers, libraries, and schools through Ingram on standard trade terms, and are listed with full metadata: title, subtitle, contributor, publisher, BISAC subject codes, trim size, page count, and a separate ISBN for each format.

Order through your usual Ingram account using the ISBN for the edition you want, which is listed on each book’s page. If your account is with a different wholesaler, or you would rather order direct, write to us and we will arrange it.

Bulk and corporate orders

Discounts are available on quantity orders for companies, conferences, associations, universities, and events. We can also arrange:

  • Direct shipment to a venue or to multiple offices
  • Signed copies, subject to lead time
  • A custom printed insert or corporate foreword on orders above a threshold
  • Coordinated delivery timed to a launch, a conference, or a training program

Tell us the title, the quantity, the delivery city and date, and whether you need signed copies, and we will quote you.

Permission to reproduce

Brief quotation for review, news reporting, criticism, scholarship, or teaching is generally fair use and does not require our permission. Please credit the author, the title, and Hartzer Press.

Written permission is required to:

  • Reproduce an extended passage, a chapter, a figure, a worksheet, or a table
  • Include material in a course pack, anthology, textbook, or training manual
  • Serialize or excerpt a book in a publication or newsletter
  • Reproduce material in a commercial product, app, or paid course
  • Create a derivative work, adaptation, or abridgement

Include the title, the edition, the exact passage with page numbers, where it will appear, the print run or audience size, the territory, and the term. Most requests are answered within five business days.

Translation and subsidiary rights

Hartzer Press controls world rights in all languages to the titles it publishes unless a book’s page states otherwise. We are open to inquiries for:

  • Translation and foreign-language editions
  • Territorial English-language editions
  • Audio rights, where not already exercised by the press
  • Serial, anthology, and book club rights
  • Film, television, and documentary options

Publishers and agents should include the house, the territory and language, the proposed advance and royalty terms, the format, and the intended publication date.

Text and data mining

Hartzer Press titles are not licensed for use as training data for machine learning or generative artificial intelligence systems. Reproduction, ingestion, or storage of a book, in whole or in substantial part, for that purpose requires a separate written license from the press. Inquiries are welcome and will be answered on the merits.

How to make a request

Write to [email protected] or use the contact form. Put the type of request in the subject line — permissions, rights, bulk order, trade order — and we will route it correctly the first time.
